Participation in Stakeholder Session of the UNODA/OSCE Regional Consultation on the Programme of Action

On behalf of SNV, Christina Rupp contributed to a stakeholder session in the framework of the “UNODA/OSCE Regional Consultation on the Programme of Action (PoA) to Advance Responsible State Behaviour in the use of ICTs in the context of international security” which took place on June 14, 2023.

In her statement, she emphasized three essential points to guarantee the PoA’s effectiveness: First, implementing the framework of responsible state behavior should be the PoA’s key objective. Second, substantive reporting mechanisms should be strengthened within the PoA to promote the consolidation of common understandings. Third, stakeholder participation should be ensured throughout the entirety of the PoA mandate.
