Road to the AI Action Summit: Coordinating AI Safety Research (Workshop hosted by TBI)

Lisa attended this workshop co-hosted by the Tony Blair Institute, RAND Europe, and the Centre for European Policy Studies to explore critical questions around advancing international collaboration in AI safety research and harmonizing global governance standards. Discussions focused on overcoming barriers to coordination, enabling mutual recognition of evaluations across jurisdictions, and balancing transparency with innovation to create a stable global AI ecosystem. Insights from the workshop will inform high-level discussions at the AI Action Summit in 2025.
