Anna Wohlfarth studied Languages, Economics and Cultural Studies at the University of Passau, Political Science at the Sciences Po (Toulouse), and holds a master's degree in European Public Affairs from the University of Maastricht. Anna Wohlfarth worked for the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Brussels, for the Federal Agency for Civic Education in Bonn and for the Bertelsmann Foundation. She joined the executive board of Stiftung Neue Verantwortung in 2012 and was in charge of its reorganization into a think tank for the sociopolitical aspects of technological change. Anna Wohlfarth is particularly interested in new forms of policy advice and how innovative ideas can strengthen democracy. She focusses on the question of how civil society can participate in and have an impact on shaping technological change.
