Greta Hess (she/her) supports the project "Approaches to Analyze and Evaluate AI-Based recommendation systems for Internet Intermediaries" as a student assistant.
She holds a degree in Economics and Information Technologies from the Copenhagen Business School, and attended further academic stays at the University of Toronto and the University of Tübingen.
Previously, she worked as a research assistant at Copenhagen Business School within the interdisciplinary project "AI Reuse" where she provided the researchers with content-related and structural support. Furthermore, she worked as a research assistant in the Data Science & Analytics department at the University of Tübingen, where she primarily supported research on Large Language Models. In addition to her research-based activities, she also gained practical experience in a digital policy project at the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), as well as project management work within a digital consultancy.
Her areas of interest lie particularly in the field of AI-based technologies and their socio-political influences, as well as the use of data science approaches to research such influences.
