Karen joined SNV in May 2022. She is a fundraising expert with many years of experience in the private and NGO sector across several countries and cultures. She is passionate about ensuring NGOs and funders work together to achieve the highest possible impact.
Karen studied Applied Translatology at Leipzig and Pyatigorsk University. Before joining the non-profit sector, Karen worked as a technical translator. As a major donor fundraiser for Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust and Red Balloon Learner Centers in Cambridge (UK), Karen gained valuable experience of working with a broad range of philanthropists. Before joining SNV, Karen for the refugee education non-profit KIRON in Berlin.
