Luisa Seeling
Lead Writing, Editing & Publishing
Luisa Seeling is Head of Writing, Editing & Communications at SNV and supports the organization’s communications department since January 2022. She manages all publication processes and coaches the SNV’s experts with regard to their writing.
From 2013 to 2021, Luisa has worked for the Munich-based German daily Süddeutsche Zeitung, first as a trainee, then as a foreign policy editor. She covered Turkish and Greek affairs and was managing editor in the paper’s newsroom. Prior to that, she has worked as an editor for the foreign policy magazine Internationale Politik and the Berlin-based think-tank German Council on Foreign Affairs. Her professional experience also includes freelancing as a writer, translator and moderator. In 2012, she was awarded the Johannes Rau Bursary including a stint as a visiting editor in a Turkish media organization. Luisa Seeling studied European Studies (B.A.) and International Relations (M.A.) in Maastricht, Istanbul und Berlin.
