Nicole Lemke is a Fellow for Artificial Intelligence (AI) with over four years of experience monitoring and evaluating dynamic AI policy developments across Europe and the United States. With professional experience in Switzerland, Germany, France, and the U.S., she applies quantitative and qualitative methods to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights. Nicole is keenly interested in both the technical and political aspects of AI.
Before joining Interface, Nicole led a cross-national study on the role of uncertainty in shaping AI governance networks across sectors and government levels at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. She was a visiting researcher at the Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity and the University of California, Berkeley. Currently, she is finalizing her PhD dissertation. Her work has been published in academic journals and non-academic outlets.
