Sebastian Rieger

Sebastian Rieger is the organization’s communications director. Since 2014 he helped to develop interface (formerly Stiftung Neue Verantwortung) into one of Europe’s leading think tanks for emerging technologies and public policy. Sebastian is involved in several research projects with a focus on the changing media ecosystem, social media regulation and news literacy. Prior to joining interface, he worked as a researcher for a think tank within the global telecommunications company Vodafone as well as for for several communication agencies and companies in the field of strategic communication. Sebastian Rieger studied political science at the Otto-Suhr-Institut für Politikwissenschaft at Freie Universität Berlin. He worked as a research assistant at the Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin (WZB).
