Users of online platforms are supposed to benefit from the EU's Digital Services Act (DSA) by platforms assessing and mitigating harms. Risks might stem from arbitrary content moderation, deceptive design practices or opaque recommender systems. To get a better sense of what risk mitigation might mean under the DSA, SNV experts Julian Jaursch and Josefine Bahro started to compile a list of actual and potential risk mitigation measures. This work in progress is meant as a resource for researchers and advocates as well as a starting point for further research.
